Overseer Pastor Andrew Anthony Sr., a husband to LaTreese S. Anthony and a father of three wonderful children, chosen by Elohim, became a licensed minister at Manoah Church of God, Los Angeles, Ca., under the leadership of the late Pastor Judson Anthony Sr. After serving a few years, he became an ordained pastor over the flock in January 2006. Not being received well, he felt that he was being led in a different direction, so he moved on. After much prayer, Overseer Anthony continued to do that which God had called him to do: preaching, teaching, and holding revivals wherever called upon.
In June 2009 Faithful Praise Outreach Church was birthed in the city of Los Angeles, CA. Continuing the work God called him to do, he relocated the ministry to Bellflower, CA, in 2014, where we reside today.
In November 2015, Pastor Anthony was ordained as overseer of pastoral care and development under the late Bishop Robert Johnson. Building ministries and people for ministry for eternal life.
Because of Jesus Christ, Overseer Anthony is free to preach the unadulterated Word of God. There is only one God, one true faith, and one baptism, in his view. Jesus Christ, and only Jesus Christ, is the centerpiece, purpose, and emphasis of his mission. He has no shame in proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, which he knows is God's power unto salvation to anyone who believes.
